In the Beginning

Louise Trent Oliver, a/k/a Louise Trent Mitchell, a/k/a T
rent Mitchell Kittleman was born on "VE Day"
at Women's Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.  At the time, her parents named her "Louise Trent Oliver" – 'Trent' after her maternal grandmother, and 'Louise' after her maternal . . . Mom.
Unlike the George Foreman family, the Olivers preferred not to call everyone "Louise" so she became "Trent" -- (not as bad as "A Boy Named Sue". . . but with similar consequences).

For the first 4 years of life, Trent lived in a row house on Chelsea Terrace in Baltimore City.  The following year, the family moved to the Catonsville suburbs, where Trent enjoyed her school years in true "Leave It to Beaver" fashion.

As a native Marylander, Trent was born with certain inalienable rights, among which were the right to eat crabs, to boo the Yankees, to bowl duckpins, to call people "Hon", and to root for the Orioles
.
